报告人简介:燕茹副教授的主要研究方向为中药代谢及其动力学🛌🏽。她致力于建立符合中药临床用药和整体性作用特点的中药药动学研究方法,探索基于体内过程的中药质量控制方法和药理活性评价体系🥄。课题组另一研究重点为以肠内菌群代谢及肠道菌-宿主共代谢为基础的疾病治疗靶标发现及创新中药研制,综合应用多学科技术手段🧑🏿💻,对肠道菌群固有代谢酶系统、肠道菌群介导宿主药物代谢及转运体系的调控机制、肠道菌次生代谢物组及肠道菌-宿主共代谢物组在疾病中的变化等展开研究。她的研究已获得国家自然基金👩🦽➡️、澳门科技发展基金及澳门大学科研基金等多项基金的支持👩🏿🎤,在Drug Metab Dispos, Anal Chem, Biochem Pharmacol, Curr Drug Metab, J Agri Food Chem, J Chromatogr A, J Am Soc Mass Spectr等SCI知名学术期刊发表研究论文五十余篇。
报告内容🍔:The gut microbiota has become the subject of extensive research in recent years, which comes out with a deep understanding of its comprehensive involvement in diverse pathophysiological processes in the host. The gut microbiota-host metabolic interactions continue throughout life and play a crucial role in host health and diseases. Apart from catalyzing biotransformation of numerous endogenous molecules of biological importance, gut microbiota also metabolize structurally diverse xenobiotics. This tremendous metabolic capability of gut microbiota has received much less attentions than the host metabolic systems in the drug discovery and development pipeline. There is also some, albeit limited, evidence that microbial imbalance is associated with altered host drug metabolism/transport systems in some diseases. In this talk, I will share our findings on genetic and functional diversities of microbial β-glucuronidases, microbial enzymes based drug discovery and some evidence on the involvement of gut microbiota in regulating host drug metabolism and transport.
